Adult Ministries

From Bible studies to fellowships and service projects to disaster relief, FBCV offers many adult ministry opportunities throughout the year. If you're interested in knowing God better and serving Him alongside other believers, there's a place for you at FBCV!

Bible study and fellowship

During the week, we have several options for adult Bible study. In addition to our Sunday school classes on Sunday morning, we have a Wednesday night Bible study and a Tuesday morning Bible study for adults. All Bible study groups offer attenders the opportunity to get to know others better in a small group setting as we study Scripture together. For more details on these groups, contact the church office.

FBCV also hosts many fellowships all year round. From our Super Bowl party to our Thanksgiving meals, the entire church enjoys gathering together for a good meal, fun, and plenty of conversation. We also have special monthly fellowships for our senior adults with our Young at Heart group. For more information on those events, contact the church office.

Missions and Outreach

At FBCV, we take the Great Commission seriously and are very involved in sharing the Gospel through missions, both domestic and abroad. Our WMU actively serves throughout the year in preparing for special Christmas charities, local clothing closets, and prison ministries, along with providing information about IMB missionaries and how our church can partner with them.

Our Kingdom Builders group works to do manual labor to both assist communities recovering from natural disasters and to help with construction projects as they share Christ. These projects take place throughout the year and work together with the whole of the church by gathering supplies and equipping volunteers.

Our church is also active in international missions. This summer, we'll be sending a team to London to minister to Muslims. For more information on any of these ministries and ways that you can be involved, please contact the church office.
