Vidalia First Baptist Church Women’s Missionary Union (WMU)
meets on the FIRST Monday of each month at 12:00 Noon in the
VFBC Fellowship Hall. This ministry exists to support our State,
North American, and International Missionaries as they minister
and spread the gospel all over the world. Each meeting usually
includes a speaker educating attendees on various mission trips,
mission opportunities, or educational information on Missions
throughout the world. We ladies also believe in and enjoy
seeking opportunities to minister in our local community. Local
mission opportunities are included in programs such as
recognizing our local church members that are homebound or
nursing home residents with goody bags and birthday cards. We
support other local missions such as OPERATION G.R.I.T.S, FALL
FOOD ROUNDUP for Louisiana Children’s Home, Community
Fridge Ministry, Eight Days of Hope, and Ladies Prison Ministry,
just to name a few. We welcome ladies from our community to
join us as we attempt to minister in the name of Christ.
