young adult ministries

For young adults at FBCV, there are so many opportunities for fellowship and friendship as we live out life as a community of faith.  With programs built to meet the needs of those in this busy and exciting season of life, FBCV can become a place where young adults can be spiritually nourished, rooted in a believers' community, and challenged to live out their faith more authentically.

Bible studies

The young adults of FBCV have a passion for God's Word and for living out its truth.  One of the best ways to get involved in this community is to join up with a Bible study!  On Sunday mornings, young adults make up the Adult I Co-ed class, the GIFT class, and the G.I.C. (Growing in Christ) class, all of which meet at 9:15am.  For directions to those classes, please visit the Welcome Center in the sanctuary, and someone will be glad to take you there!

There's also a young ladies' Bible study class that meets on Monday evenings.  Past sessions have included Beth Moore and Lysa TerKeurst book studies, with video driven curriculum and discussion groups afterwards.  For more information on our current study, please contact April Garrett at

Moms' morning out

Are you a busy mom of little ones?  Do you have a baby, a preschooler, or both?  Our FBCV community understands where you're at and how even just a few hours out of the house and on your own is a luxury.  That's why we offer Mom's Morning Out as a ministry to you and your children.  Every first Thursday of the month from 9am-11am, we invite you to come to the church, drop your kids off for some fun with friends, and take some time for yourself.  Many of our other moms take the opportunity to spend some kid-free time together and would love to have you join them.  For more information, contact Carrie at
